Semiannual Document Shredding Event sponsored by Bethany Lions Club
Thank you for a successful Spring Shredding Event. See you in October.
Once again, the Bethany Lions Club will sponsor a “Document Shredding Day” on Saturday, October TBD 2014. The event will be held at the Town Recycling Center, 755 Amity Road, between the hours of 9 A.M. and Noon, rain or shine.
ProShred-Connecticut, based in Wallingford, will provide a truck with self-contained shredding capability. All shredding will be done on site. To expedite the process, Lions members will help unload vehicles.
This is a convenient opportunity for town residents to dispose of old papers and documents, tax records, bank statements, etc. in a safe and secure environment. Although the service is free of charge, a nominal donation amount will be suggested to help fund ongoing Lions Charities activities.
I have several large boxes of papers that need shredding. Do I need to take them out of the big yellow envelopes they are in and remove staples and rubber bands?
this is a great service. thanks
No, you can leave them in the envelopes. Large clips need to be removed and papers need to be removed from loose-leaf binders. Hope to see you on the 19th.
When is the next shredding date in Bethany?
Thank you for this service
Barbara
The next Shredding Event is October 18. 9am till noon
