Bethany Lions Club Annual Installation of 2015-2016 Officers
. On June 19th, Anne Dembski was sworn in as President of the Bethany Lions Club for the 2015-2016 year by Bethany resident and Zone Chair and 2nd Vice-District Governor Elect, Shaukat Kahn. Anne serves as Assistant Executive Director at the Bradley Home in Meriden and has been a very active Bethany Lion.

Bethany Lions Scholarship Winners 2015
Bethany Lions Club Scholarship Night 2015 was held on June 9th at Lakeview Lodge. Five Bethany high school seniors who are college bound received scholarships; they are:
Daniel Wivagg received $3,000, the Russell and Janice von Beren Community Service Award. He will be attending WPI
for Mechanical Engineering in the fall.
Arvene Golbazi received $2,000 and she will be attending Boston University as a bio/premed major.
Victoria Liu, received $2,000 and she will attend Wellesley College to study Molecular bliology
Jordan Young received $2,000 and he will attend UConn with a major in nursing.
Douglas Rives received $2,000 and he will attend WPI majoring in Mechanical Engineering
